Pouto Point

How do I get there?

Pouto Point is located on the West coast of the Kaipara District. Depending where you come from, generally you will take state highway 12 or 14 to Dargaville, then head south to Pouto. The last 10km to Pouto Point is currently experiencing road works due to sealing of the gravel road which is expected to be complete by 2022.

Once you get to Pouto Point, you will see a Henare New Zealand sign at the front of the property. Enter here through the gate and follow the designated track through the old orchard to the parking area. From here it's a 20m walk around the bamboo shelter belt to the lodge.

What's included?

Each lodge is fully equipped with the following:

KitchenFridge, microwave, gas hob, espresso machine, toaster, jug, wine glasses, cutlery, plates, bowls, pots, pans, cheese boards.
